CONFERENCEThe Faculty of Law maintains close cooperation with employers and legal professional organisations in organising conferences and other projects. Representatives from the Faculty participate in various activities within these organisations, such as working with the Ministry of Justice’s permanent working groups to draft or amend legislative acts.
To consolidate professional skills and knowledge the Professional Master’s programme includes an internship at:
- courts of all levels, including the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court
- the public prosecutor’s office
- the national police
- the Saeima (Latvian Parliament)
- state institutions
- local authorities
- law firms
- notaries
- bailiffs
- businesses and public organisations
