Contemporary legal theory pertaining to Democratic States based on the Rule of Law; Understanding of the legal norm in contemporary legal theory; Implementation of general principles of law: natural rights, legal methods, and system principles, in judicial and administrative practice; Analysis of the reasoning of the decisions of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Latvia, the Court of Justice of the European Union, the European Court of Human Rights and the concretization of the general principles of law.
